- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪If you care about your family members do not send them to Dr. Slutsky, or insist they get a second opinion. My grandfather had elevated PSA levels for years. Dr. Slutsky ordered blind biopsies and told him that he didn't have cancer. He never followed the biopsy up with a bone scan (which I'm told is protocol; you can even read that online). He wasn't diagnosed until he saw a specialist in Chicago, and by then it was too late. He had had cancer for years already. If Dr. Slutsky would have told him the biopsy was blind he would have seen a specialist a lot sooner. Now he is withering away from one of the most painful cancers. It has inervated his bones. Please do not see this doctor for anything serious. Do your research and get a second opion from a credible specialist in Chicago.
